Stefan Pichler Wins Labour Economics Prize 2016

Stefan Pichler of KOF Swiss Economic Institute and his colleagues Metin Akyol and Michael Neugart win the "EALE Labour Economics Prize" for the best paper published in Labour Economics during 2015.

The editors of Labour Economics select annually a winner of the "external pageEALE Labour Economics Prize" for the best paper published in Labour Economics during the previous year. This year, the prize went to: "A tradable employment quota" by Metin Akyol, Michael Neugart and Stefan Pichler, published in Labour Economics, Volume 36, pp. 48-63. The panel found the paper well-executed and thought-provoking, and found the idea of a more market-based mechanism to promote women’s position in the labour market intriguing.
