Survey of the Development and Dissemination of Energy Technologies 2009

With the backing of the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE) and as part of its Energy-Economy-Society research programme, KOF conducted a survey on the subject of energy technologies in 2009. The focus was on a number of specific technologies that are designed to either boost energy efficiency or to promote the use of alternative sources of energy and are therefore relevant to an energy policy that is oriented towards sustainability. The first phase of the objective involved creating a database of companies that are involved in using and developing innovative activities for such technologies, and in the second phase conducting in-depth analyses of the determinants of these phenomena and functional analyses of the technological output.
