Start-up Survey 2000

Aims

Switzerland is constantly being criticised for its low start-up rates even though there is insufficient information available to make such an assessment. Against this background an extensive poll of new companies was conducted in spring 2000. These data should provide the key in particular to those factors that have been decisive for the ascertainable efficiency of an enterprise since its formation.

Sample

The survey in March 2000 was aimed at all those companies that were established in the period 1996/97 and were still in existence at the beginning of 2000.
