Business Tendency Surveys

Business tendency surveys provide valuable information about current and future business developments in the Swiss economy, individual sectors and different regions. The results of the surveys are included in the KOF business tendency forecasts and in every assessment of the economic situation.

Publication

The KOF publishes the results in the “business tendency survey” reports. A business tendency report is published for each sector. Respondents receive the quarterly business tendency report and the monthly summary of results for their sector free of charge. An article on the results of the business tendency surveys is published every quarter in the “KOF Bulletin”. In addition, the KOF presents the current survey results every quarter at a press conference. A press release is published in the “Press” column on the same day.
